Admission Procedure
Bachelor`s degree completed in any faculty of a recognized University
Medical graduates should have completed internship.
Domicile of Maharashtra (Certificate Essential)
Age limits: Gen- 21 to 32 Yr., OBC-21 to 35 Yr., SC/ ST- 21 to 37 Yr. (As per UPSC rules)as on 1st August
How to Apply
Advertisement of SIAC in August for Entrance Examination. (leading newspapers of every district of Maharashtra.)
Entrance Examination will be held in November.
Syllabus as per UPSC, CIVIL SERVICES PRELIMINARY EXAMINATION.

Application Form Fees
Gen-Rs.300/- Category-150/- (through SBI Challan)
Training period is 11 months, The number of seats -100+10(Minority)+10(BARATI)
No fees for Training Programme. Only deposit refundable caution money Rs.500/- for Library and Rs.100/- for SIAC Hostel accommodation.
An Ex-SIAC candidate who has availed of the benefit of coaching for prelims or Mains in SIAC will not be eligible.
Full time candidates will not be allowed to do any other courses/job simultaneously.

Classess: Classes of General Studies /Aptitude Test and all optional subjects of Civil Services Main Examination.
Limited Hostel accommodation will be available for boys/girls residing out of Mumbai on merit.
Stipend of Rs. 2000/-per month.
Traning Programme(Preparation-UPSC)
Janauary to August ( First Term )- for Civil Services Prelim Exam.
September to December(Second Term )- for Civil Services Main Exam.
March/April - for Interview Techniques.
SIAC , Entrance Examination
Section-I General Studies-100 Marks
Section-II CSAT-100 Marks (Qualifying Marks minimum 33%)
Total Marks : 200 and Duration : 2 Hours
The questions will be of multiple choices, objective type.
All wrong answers will carry 0.33% negatie Marks.

- Current events of National and International Importance
- History of India and Indian National Movement
- Indian and World Geography – Physical, Social, Economic Geography of India and the World.
- Indian Polity and Governance – Constitution, Political System, Panchayati Raj, Public Policy, Rights Issues, etc.
- Economic and Social Development – Sustainable Development, Poverty, Inclusion, Demographics, Social Sector Initiatives, etc.
- General issues on Environmental Ecology, Bio-diversity and Climate Change – that do not require subject specialization
- General Science.
- Current events of National and International Importance
- History of India and Indian National Movement
